>>>>>If that's true then why aren't they fighting in their homeland Russia???<<<<<<

They ARE in THEIR OWN country. Your Nazi junta want to take the land FROM them and stripe off all their civil rights. One of the first laws Kiev junta declared was to BAN the use of Russian language in Ukraine. Russian is spoken by the majority of the Ukraine population for CENTURIES. P> Ukrainian is a dialect relatively few speak outside of Western Ukraine. During elections, most politicians speak Russian so the voters could understand them.

Ukraine never existed as a separate country before Communists created it in 1917. Check the name of "Ukraine" before Soviet takeover - it was called Novorossiya.

You are hopelessly clueless.

DTA, are you trying to make a record for lies told per sentence?

You are wrong. Ukraine did exist as a separate country. Indeed, for several centuries it was the center of Rus civilization. You might as well argue that Poland never existed as a separate country.

Ukraine became a part of the Russian Empire under Peter the Great, much like Scotland became part of the UK. It was not absorbed, it was attached.

Ukraine was never called Novorossiya. That is like saying that South Dakota was once called the Black Hills. Novorossiya is a separately defined area within the Ukraine, which was liberated from the Turks.

Again, like Scotland and the UK, it is not correct to look at Ukraine as a former Russian (as now defined) possession. During the time of the tzars, Ukrainians made up a good portion of the ruling elite of the Empire, but Ukraine maintained a separate identity within the Empire.

If you go to Wales, you will discover that the Welsh language appears first on signage. Should the English immigrants revolt? Indeed, should those who only speak Spanish in the SW revolt at the idea of English being an official language?

Ukraine may not have been a nation before world war I, but they are a nation today. Crimea may have been part of Russia when there was a Russian Empire, but today it is part of independent Ukraine and occupied by Russia's criminal thugs. Kiev would not be fighting to retake their land if ethnic separatist thugs had not tried to steal it from them, with Russia's support. Ukraine is dealing with those separatists the same way Putin dealt with the Chechen separatists in Russia. Today, there is no Novorossiya. Once the terrorists are wiped out, it will be Novo-Ukrayina.

Complete nonsense / propaganda. The law that was passed simply made Ukrainian the official language for gov't business. There was no "BAN" on usage otherwise, or even discouragement. Indeed much of the "Nazi junta" you speak of (which is now superseded by a popularly elected President) does often speak Russian. The same elected legislature (BTW) that passed the measure rolled it back immediately.

Now, I CAN see that Kiev has a serious flaw: They are at a 10:1 disadvantage in ability to spew crap.

They ARE in THEIR OWN country.

Like Igor Ivanovich Strelkov, eh?
