President Barack Obamas executive amnesty for illegal aliens via the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program and other executive orders is a magnet for illegal immigration, Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) told Breitbart News on Tuesday.
All of that is a magnet and a beacon for people to come, Paul said when asked about Obamas executive immigration orders during a brief interview outside the National Republican Senatorial Committee (NRSC) headquarters. You cant have any kind of beacon without securing the border first. It really illustrates what conservatives have been saying all along, myself included: You cant vote for immigration reform, you cant have immigration reform without first securing the border.
Paul added that the whole idea that the president unilaterally offered these areas of forgiveness for the kidsthis DREAM kind of forgivenessthe problem is if you do that with an open border, then the whole world will come. Paul called for the border to be secured, and said that no immigration legislation should be considered unless the border is secured.

2016? I doubt anyone presently knows what issues will figure in the 3016 race. Immigration is huge but the publics attention span is like the goldfishes’; brief and easily led.
No kidding! Who the heck does he believe he is fooling?
He has quickly become the epitome of a worm, talking out of both sides of his mouth. I prefer he just stop, the more he talks the more he disgusts me. I personally find him very arrogant.
LOOK OUT, RAND!!! THERE’S A TARANTULA ON YOUR HEAD!!!
Call it what it has, as predicted turned out to be: The Nightmare Act.
I have completely given up on Republicans and the immigration issue.
It’s just one betrayal after another, year after year.
Even Ted Cruz has recently written pending legislation that would increase work visas FIVE times over their current level.
Insane.
Not one of them can be trusted anymore.
As someone posted yesterday; the Demorats want the votes; the Republicans want the cheap labor. We have to live with the consequences.
