America is an idea AND!! a reality simultaneously. I don't see why that's so difficult to grasp. Many conservatives have called America an idea. Before the United States was a reality, it was certainly an idea. All Americans should be striving for a better America. The ideal. And it still remains one.

Kerwick leaps to some strange conclusions. Sorry, Mr. Kerwick, because I believe America is an idea as well as a reality does not mean I believe in letting everybody in.
