At least 35 trucks through Israel on Tuesday to GAZA for UNWRA PRESS RELEASE: Dubai
[Dr. Aaron Lerner - IMRA: Lionello Boscardi - UNRWA Partnership, told IMRA that at least 35 trucks will make their way from Amman through Israel to the Gaza Strip this Tuesday and that there will be many more trucks to follow as the program is already slated to continue through the 27th.]
PRESS RELEASE Dubai Begins Humanitarian Airlift for UNRWA in Gaza 21 July 2014 East Jerusalem
As the number of casualties and injured civilians rises in the Gaza Strip, aid agencies have geared up for the emergency response and mobilized relief supplies from the International Humanitarian City (IHC), in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. These supplies have been donated to the UN Relief and Works Agency (UNRWA) for thousands of vulnerable displaced families in Gaza.
Under the direction of HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, a special airlift in support of displaced families in Gaza began on Sunday from the Royal Wing in Dubai, where a 747 cargo took off carrying 115 metric tons of aid, containing 45,000 mattresses, 10,000 blankets and 220 hygiene kits. The plane landed at Marka International Airport in Amman early on Monday, 21 July.
"We are very grateful for the immediate reaction and most generous response we received from Dubai and all the IHC members to our call for help", said Pierre Krähenbühl, UNRWA Commissioner-General, who added that "the Dubai airlift is one of the best examples of how effective humanitarians can be when working together."
In less than 24 hours, IHC coordinated participation of member organizations including the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), the UN World Food Programme (WFP)/UN Humanitarian Response Depot), the UN Children's Fund, the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) and Emirates Red Crescent. The members planned a joint logistics effort to ensure maximum efficiency in delivering aid to 100,000 internally displaced people amid deteriorating security conditions in Gaza.
Relief items included jerrycans, sleeping mats, blankets, tarpaulins, hygiene kits and kitchen sets. They were dispatched from IHC warehouses, which hold supplies, as well as some of the largest global stockpiles, for aid agencies including UNHCR, WFP and IFRC, and then transferred to the royal aircraft in the Dubai Air Wing.
In the coming days, more airlifts are scheduled to arrive in Amman, from where UNRWA will truck the aid into Gaza for distribution. UNRWA plans to expand the scope of the donations to include emergency food parcels as stocks of food and other essential goods dwindle.

UNRWA CONDEMNS PLACEMENT OF ROCKETS, for a second time, in one of its schools
Agency Demands Full Respect for the Sanctity of Its Premises in Gaza
22 July 2014 East Jerusalem
Today, in the course of the regular inspection of its premises, UNRWA discovered rockets hidden in a vacant school in the Gaza Strip. As soon as the rockets were discovered, UNRWA staff were withdrawn from the premises, and so we are unable to confirm the precise number of rockets. The school is situated between two other UNRWA schools that currently each accommodate 1,500 internally displaced persons.
UNRWA strongly and unequivocally condemns the group or groups responsible for this flagrant violation of the inviolability of its premises under international law.
The Agency immediately informed the relevant parties and is pursuing all possible measures for the removal of the objects in order to preserve the safety and security of the school. UNRWA will launch a comprehensive investigation into the circumstances surrounding this incident.
UNRWA has reinforced and continues to implement its robust procedures to maintain the neutrality of all its premises, including a strict no-weapons policy and regular inspections of its installations, to ensure they are only used for humanitarian purposes.
Palestinian civilians in Gaza rely on UNRWA to provide humanitarian assistance and shelter. At all times, and especially during escalations of violence, the sanctity and integrity of UN installations must be respected.

Well, they have to store their rockets somewhere. Wonder what's on the trucks
Someone needs to slap a bit of c-4 on one of those rockets.
Maybe Ban Keith Moon will smuggle a thermo nuclear device to his jihadi allies in his underpants.

I doubt thats a complete list. What about morters, machine guns, rocket propelled grenades and stinger style missiles from Ghadaffi’s arsenal; that Obama turned over to the Muslim Brotherhood at Benghazi?
It has to go through Israeli checkpoints and they make sure that stuff doesn’t get through. Egypt has closed down their border except for helping some injured Palestinian civilians who need medical help.
It is amazing what can be packed into the walls of an ISO container....
It is good that Isreal is checking it, because as sure as there are no pork burgers aboard, there will be hidden ordnance.
A hell of a way to win a war. Did we send relief supplies to German or Japanese civilians during WW2?
The positions you have stated would be a winnng campaign issue IMO
In fairness to Abbas, nothing he can do, he doesn't control the place, and wouldn't control Judea and Samaria if the IDF wasn't propping him up by suppressing Hamas
"The Day of Judgment will not come about until Muslims fight the Jews (killing the Jews), when the Jew will hide behind stones and trees. The stones and trees will say O Muslims, O Abdullah, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him."
Not a crust of bread nor a drop of water do they deserve while the Hamas Charter isn't turned to ashes in the rubble.
It’s in Article Seven:

I bet if the President told Abba boy that we will shut off all US taxpayer aid if Hamas fires one more rocket he will find a way to control them or kick them out. Of course if we had a leader, that leader could convince other country’s to follow our lead. Someone needs to step up and be forceful about all of the unchecked aid we give to other countries! All of this money we gave to Abbas and the Palestinians was used to build elaborate concrete tunnels for Hamas. We give aid to countries that don’t like us and would like to see Americans killed, but we still give them millions of dollars. We give aid to corrupt countries who line the pockets of the corrupt leaders and what do we do; give them more aid or forgive their loans. We and other countries have given Haiti so much money that that tiny little sh.t hole island should look like a 5 star resort with every citizen living a middle class life or better. What do we have to show for it? nothing but ruins and poverty. The money is in the pockets of the leaders. What do we do; give them more money. Look at all of the money we give to the Central American countries and what do we get in return, their poor uneducated sick children. We could have built a fence for Mexico running the entire length of the country. I would rather give money to every citizen of Central America to stay in their country instead of coming here. At least it would be money well spent!

And when Israel gives Hamas some of their own medicine, the caterwauling from Hamas supporters is deafening.
Bibi is the leader of the free world. Obama gsve up that position.
It's an insanity, all of it. The UN should move their headquarters into Gaza.
The question is simple. When will Israel just conquer Gaza and send the whole refugee lot to Saudi Arabia, where all of their support originates.
