The silver lining to this is that perhaps Catholic Charities will have to do without government money, which means they'll have to scale back and focus on promoting the faith. (In socialist USA, there is no need any longer for Catholic, say, food kitchens. The government will give anyone food stamps, so why should the Catholic Church give food if it's not also spreading the Gospel while soup is being ladled out?)

Catholic Charities is barely Catholic. Subsisting on Obama money, while remaining open to private donations from the well meaning makes for odd bedfellows and possibly a fine slush fund operation.
Are charities a charity when propped up by government and serving its political interests?

*Catholic* Charities do without govt money? Ha!
They’ve (and will likely continue to) received MILLIONS of US Taxpayer $$ via “grants”. Grants that have been given (at least) since 2010 to set up the transportation and housing of these *suddenly unexpected* flood of illegal “children” (majority are between ages 16 - 24).
