Perry’s order to send in the National Guard is nothing more than a photo op/attempt to add to his conservative credentials.
The NG can do very little. Perry’s Texas National Guard will have no authority to arrest or detain. Illegals will still ‘surrender’ and immigration official will bus them out across the U.S and let them go. Business as usual.
How ashamed Travis, Houston and the heroes of the Texas revolution would be of spineless Perry and our Texas reps who stand by and do nothing while the Mexicans retake Texas.
And how proud they would be of one California man who gave everything he had to give to help.
There’s no doubt in my mind that had you lived back then, you would have been right there with Travis, Crockett, Bowie and all the rest, ready to lay down their lives for what’s right.

Sounds like a Fed problem not Perry’s. Until the laws are changed and different
