Putin Channels Obama on MH17: Ukrainians Cling to Guns and Borders
Townhall.com ^ | July 22, 2014 | John Ransom

The strongman of the Soviet, er, Russia is getting kind of wimpy.

Caught in the act blowing up a civilian airliner, he’s pointing the finger at someone else, and condemning the world’s political calculations, all the while calculating politically.

He must watch a lot of MSNBC because this is the type of thing we’ve come to expect from our own weak-willed presidents.

Russia, says Putin, did not shoot down that jetliner. Listen to him very carefully. There is no inappropriate Russian relationship with that missile.

It was caused by a bunch of bitter Ukrainians who cling to their guns and their borders.

"I can say with confidence that if on June 28 combat activities in eastern Ukraine had not been resumed, this tragedy most likely would not have happened," said Putin in the LA Times. "At the same time, no one has a right to use this tragedy to achieve their narrowly selfish political ends."

War on Ample-Breasted, Russian Women!

"Putin's message to the world is clear: 'Whatever you learn and whatever you say, you have no right to blame me for what happened, especially if you use it in your dirty political games,’" says Dmitry Oreshkin, a Russian senior political expert.

If it sounds familiar that’s because it’s been the refrain from Obama for six long, wearying years of shooting down the wrong target.

“Who me?” says Obama between rounds of golf.

It does no good to condemn Putin as a liar, when lying is about the only policy prescription that Obama has for anything. And the press props him up.

It’s kind of like Republicans nominating the one guy in the party who passed nationalized healthcare for one-state while condemning the nationalized healthcare law for all of us known as Obamacare.

And it goes to the crisis of confidence that the world has in its leaders, its media, and its systems. As we pass from crisis to crisis, politicians around the world just don’t get it.

So as a service to them, let’s make this clear:

We are on to you.

It doesn’t matter what’s being said in state-sponsored news organizations like Russia Today, MSNBC, ITAR-TASS or CNN.

Today the truth makes it around the world before the lies from the state media can get its shoes on.

So if guys like Obama and Putin seem out of touch, a bit behind, and singing in not quite the right key, it’s because they are.

This isn’t 1968 where Walter Cronkite can take to the airwaves and turn a country against the Vietnam War.

Or for the war in Syria.

Today, being for a war before being against it is a major blunder that no amount of friendly press can explain away. The use of journalism to promote the Big Lie, as has been done since the advent of radio, is over. We should all celebrate that fact.

Because it was control of the Big Media that allowed the rise of the Big State to begin with.

Today, when a politician gets caught with his pants around his ankles, no one is going to stop to admire the emperor’s new clothes. Instead we get more cringe-worthy, made-for-TV moments that allow the people who specialize in 30-second political spots to make a ton of money every two years.

And generations of politicians who still believe in the Lost Causes of 1968-- Putin, Hillary, Obama-- need to make an adjustment.

At the very least they need to pull their pants up.

Because this getting embarrassing.

It’s hard to be a strongman, or the greatest president ever, or the first lady president when taking mincing steps restricted by your belt circumference.

Putin is trying to force his will on the Ukrainians just as Obama is trying to force his will on Americans — they are birds of a feather.

Lemme see now, - - - Yesterday I listened to Obama’s “Flexible” Speech to Putin today, just before he takes up his real day job of bilking money from Democrat Oligarchs, all expenses paid with US Taxpayer Dollars, of course.

As far as i can tell, Putin is following Obama’s flexible playbook exactly:
* Do what ever you want.
* Have no fear of being held accountable.
* Disobey any and all laws, or ethical standards.
* Cover up any evidence.
* Lie, at every opportunity, especially to the gullible Media.
* Deny.
* Blame others.
* Ridicule all who oppose you.
* Ignore all critics.
* Silently, but ALWAYS arrogantly, consider any harm done to others as necessary collateral damage.

Thus, by listening yesterday to Obama’s speech to Putin, I found Obama’s and Putin’s methods to be on the same page:

* Keep investigators away from the evidence;
* Do not allow investigators to investigate;
* Isolate your Party from the International Community.
* Continue to do whatever you want.

BTW, if Obama has three Day Jobs:
1.) Bilking money from Democrat Oligarchs,;
2.) Doing Completed Staff Work in the Oval Office,
and 3.) Playing the role of the “cool” Choom-Guy, (unlimited time away from “the family,” Golf, Pool, Beer, etc.),

at which “job” does B. Hussein “invest” more hours?

US Tax-burdened taxpayers want to know - - - !

This kind of stuff sure gets old, you would think some one who is smart enough to be a news reporter would know the difference.

The constitution of Massachusetts does not prevent this Obama type of health care. Romney went along with what the people who voted him in wanted which is what a Governor should do if it is not against the constitution.

How would Putin benefit from blowing up the plane?
_______________

This question was often presented back in the days of the Soviet Union when a communist fellow traveler would search for an easy way to cut off discussion.

You assume that Putin set out deliberately to destroy a civilian passenger jet. The evidence so far shows, however, that Putin’s Russian agents in Ukraine were supplied with a sophisticated anti-aircraft weapon which they had used in previous days to take down Ukrainian jets and a transport plane. When Putin’s forces in Ukraine destroyed MH17, they proudly announced on social media that they had destroyed a Ukrainian military transport plane. Only later, when they realized that they had murdered nearly 300 civilians, did the story change. First, the plane was full of spies. Then there was a magic Ukrainian jet and a phantom Spanish air controller in Kyiv who was arrested by the Ukrainian police. Then, there was a story that it was really an attempted assassination attempt against Putin returning from the World Cup. And so on.

The point is that Putin is culpable for the murder of the MH17 passengers and crew because he allowed sophisticated weaponry to be supplied to his forces in Ukraine and encouraged those forces to us those weapons. For this reason, Putin is morally responsible for what happened. He is a stone cold killer. Meanwhile, his murderous aggression against Ukraine continues, with a fresh supply of men and armor crossing into Ukraine last night.

Rules for listening to Obama:

1.) The first thing Obama says is always a lie.

2.) Whatever Obama says that he is not going to do or tolerate is what he has already done, or will do as soon as he has a chance to do so.

3.) Obama tells the gullible what they want to hear, such as Boehner and McConnell.

4.) Obama then shames the gullible and weak Republicans, such as Boehner and McConnell, to stop bickering and pay for the Obama’s Administration’s, [read Muslim Communist Valerie Jarrett’s], unfettered success at “Fundamentally transform the United States of America” into a model Socialist European State.

Note: After a Presser, Obama usually tries to get away from his family by playing Golf, shooting Pool, drinking beer with “the folks,” or spending more time at his REAL day job: bilking money from Democrat Oligarchs.
