I sincerely hope that none of the GOP candidates of 2012—all of whom were has-beens and never-will-bes—will throw their hats into the ring in 2016.

Sadly, several of the 2012 retreads will, and possibly even a couple from 2008 will try again.

The GOP needs a strong governor to run. I am not sure Perry is it. He is better than some but not all that inspiring. But, I can’t think of any other GOP governor who would be considered outstanding.

Cruz is probably the most conservative, but I don’t care for senators running. Look at the mess we have now and what were their former jobs:

Obama — Pres_ent — Senator
Biden — Vice President — Senator
Hillary Clinton — Sec of State — Senator
John F. Kerry — Sec of State — Senator

And of course, Obama defeated the GOP Nominee, John McCain — Senator for his first term.

Of course, many will be jumping on various bandwagons and chastizing any who oppose their preference.

I ask 2 questions:

1. Is this person the best the GOP can offer?
2. Do you want another also-ran footnote in the annals of history, or do you want to win?
