We were catching-up with ya until the red-purple cells hit at 6pm, and knocked out power with some violent storms. 3" of much-needed rain all ran-off into the drains, gutters and retention ponds. It was 0'Dark Thirty until 7pm; damn.
Just getting back online now. Lots of branches and leaves down. It's a mess outside.
I just earned another point toward Heaven.......I have bird feeders that are on a pole.......its one of those dual poles...with a kinda “V” in the middle ANYWAY....I was watching and a bird (damned Grackle, I think) got his neck stuck between the poles and was falling into the crak...ergo choking himself........so I ran down and did what anyone would do......grabbed my oven mitts......and went out and pushed the bird up the pole and set it free.......my reward? It crapped on the deck and flew away LOL

Tornado was a direct hit on my home town in Northwest MN.....hit in the addition I lived in.......house is fine.......(mom is bitching, so she is fine).....Lost a black walnut my dad planted years ago, and some shrubs....but the house is OK...several in the area had trees down THROUGH their houses.........Weather is GOd’s great equalizer!
