Don’t kid yourself. A significant percentage of those crossing the border illegally are criminals. They come here to commit more crime. There are some good people seeking a better life. They don’t outweigh the criminals. They need to apply legally like everyone else. We cannot take everyone.

I don’t disagree with any of that. The question (and my point) is, who’s responsible for letting them in by the hundreds of thousands and even millions?

That’s where our anger should be directed.

If you leave the door of your house wide open with a wallet on the entry floor in a neighborhood known to have thieves criminals and lowlifes and homeless and hungry people and they come in to your house and you’re in there and and they take your wallet and other stuff while you just watch them (maybe even offer them lunch), who do you blame for your loss?

I would say it’s 99.99% your fault. Do you disagree?

And isn’t that what we’re doing with our border and our immigration “policy”?
