OK now, if the USSC says this law is legal because it is a tax, can’t these exemptions be challenged on their constitutionality of not uniformly applying taxes? They made this bed they should have to lie in it.
Exactly! Next election both candidates will promise to exempt from taxes every state that gives the candidate their electoral votes... In a way they could already do it - just pardon everyone!
