Asked by Capitol City Projects Joe Schoffstall on Friday whether or not she had a stated position on Israel's recent foray into Gaza, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) couldn't be reached for comment. Instead, she did exactly what she did two years ago at Netroots Nation when facing tough questions from reporters: she ran away.
In a sense, one might call this the Gov. Chris Christie approach. That is, if you're a politician, never answer loaded questions about sensitive political issues unless you absolutely have to (although, in fairness, Gov. Christie doesn't always follow his own advice).
Nevertheless, better to be pilloried for running away from a question than saying something you might later regret. Right?
UPDATE: Thought you might enjoy this. If this song doesn't brighten your weekend, I don't know what will:

A pertinent question is not a "loaded" question so long as it is worded in a routine way.
Asking whether or not she has a stated position on Israel's recent foray into Gaza is definitely not a "loaded" question.

The news media is just dying for her to run.
This would give them adequate reason to dump Hillary...the way they did in '08.
They never come up with any new ideas until they have TOTALLY exhausted the old ones. That's one reason why they continue re-use the race card thing until they can be convinced that it no longer works and they only fool each other with it.

I think Warren's biggest electoral vulnerability is her own damning words, in which she publicly claims to have created the looney, juvenile, business destroying, socially disruptive, disease-laded, out of control, intellectually bankrupt, philosophically incoherent, America-hating, unsanitary, disgusting, left-wing extremist temper-tantrum movement Occupy Wall Street:
I created much of the intellectual foundation for what they do, she says. I support what they do.
Conservatives need to endlessly tie her to Occupy Wall Street, recapping the horrific images of its appalling behavior:

I was wondering how that was a “loaded” question also. If she can’t run with the big dogs she should.... well I’ll be nice.

I’d rather they spoke the truth rather than playing the “political calculus” politicians and their handlers work. You would rather be told what you want to hear than hearing what they have to say?
