Silene Fredricksz and her husband Robertt begged Russian president Vladimir Putin to ensure the safe return of her son and his girlfriend.
The two, Bryce Fredricksz, 23, and Oehlers, 20, were among the 298 victims when the Malaysia Airlines passenger jet was shot down over Ukraine on Thursday.
Outrage has been building over the treatment of bodies at the site, as pro-Russian rebels loaded as many as 196 bodies onto trucks and hauled them away, while at the same time holding back international observers.
Condemnation today centred on Russian president Vladimir Putin for not exercising his influence to ensure the dead are properly treated - which senior politicians say he could do with a snap of his fingers.
It came as Ukraine accused him of continuing to supply arms to the rebels even as the disaster continues.
At Schiphol Airport in Amsterdam, where the doomed flight took off on Thursday before being shot down over rebel-held eastern Ukraine, relatives gathered to mourn.
Silene Fredricksz and her husband Robertt lost their son Bryce and his girlfriend Daisy Oehlers on the flight. They numbered among the 192 Dutch victims of the disaster - almost two thirds of the total.
Holding a photograph of the two loved ones, they piled pressure on Putin to ensure their safe return.
She said: 'They were 23 and 20 years old. They are laying there somewhere on the floor. I don't know where they are. 'I want to arrange their funeral and I can't. I don't know where they are. I want them back. I want my children back. Look at those people. They're beautiful.
'They have to come back. Mr Putin, send them home. Send them home. Please.'

Putin and company could turn the bodies into dog food and the West - including the USA - would make nothing more than a rhetorical response.
Forget the illegals, Putin has pre won all amnesties and can do as he pleases.
This is so sad, and also completely outrageous.
Seriously, has any other country behaved this way, because if they have I’m not aware of it.
I mean, you know, really, who do they think they are.
Somebody needs to punch back twice as hard, they’ve got a hell of nerve not handling these people’s bodies in a correct and respectful manner.
AFTER THEY KILLED THEM.
Innocent people, who have nothing to do with Russia or Ukraine.
A complete disgrace.
I’ll bet Putin drags this out for weeks — holding the bodies as hostages.
They’ll use all sorts of excuses including the following:
“first we have to identify them”, “there are only 252 and there are supposed to be 298 — first we have to find the rest”, “they can’t go without all their belongings adn we have to get those first”, “say please and ask us one more time with feeling”, “sure if we can have that Rolex on your wrist”, ...
This part of the world excels at creating bodies, but not much else.
Early in the days of the Bolshevik takeover of Russia someone said “To die is easy, to get buried is hard.”
