The “wow” comment was not really for the “two weeks” part, but for the (unstated) fact that they were married for 58 years...

Great actor, extremely likable.

Who couldn’t have liked him as the scrounger in the Great Escape?

Marry in haste, before she gets away. That is completely consistent with his public persona, and the characters he played.

Very sad news. A man’s man, as beloved for his real-life personality as his memorable on-screen characters. For one stretch of time it seemed he was the Indy 500 pace car driver every year,

They don’t mention that he was wounded twice in Korea, and served in the Merchant Marine at age 16 during World War II. The Merchant Marine had a higher fatality rate than any branch of the service, including the Marines.

More Cameros and trailers...

Jim:So I’ll be getting the reward money now right?

Representative character: Actually, the insurance company only insured it up to $50000 and you broke the two pieces. So the expenses total $49995...

Jim: Say do yo think after you finish your math here I’ll even have enough to pay for our little meal here?

Classic...

I could listen to he and Angel banter and that themesong all day.
