We had about a hundred people present at our anti-illegal alien protest in Sacramento today. We had people representing Oath Keepers, Overpasses for America, Free Republic and other groups, including a contingent of volunteers from the Bolinas Border Patrol.
There was only one counter protester that I'm aware of and in the end she gave in and took up an American flag and a "Secure the Borders" sign. I overheard her say, "OMG, I've always been a flaming liberal and now I'm a member of the tea party!" But she was also an admitted lunatic and possibly an escapee from the asylum. She kept hiding whenever the park police came around and said she was afraid of being arrested.
They had several speakers and then let members from the crowd step up to say their piece. Some of these brave patriots were really great speakers. One was a non-PC black man and quite a constitutional patriot. We also heard from a black woman who wants to run for office and a Mexican lady who was upset about all the illegals coming in when people she knew had to work hard to come in legally. Syncro even got an opportunity to voice his opinion.
Lots of people there taking pictures and video, but only one media operation that I saw--RT (The Russian Times). I'm guessing they'll be just about as truthful as our media (maybe more so than many).
We met representatives from a couple of groups who may help us on the ground in Texas when we go next week. We (the three amigos from the Bolinas Border Patrol) are planning to go to the border in the Rio Grande Valley sector next week to see what we can do about slowing down the flow of illegals at the source. Hoping we can get some Texans to join us at the border (please ping your lists if you can help).

Thank you Jim. We had a nice turnout of 50 to 60 on a Tampa Florida overpass today with 0 counter protestors! We always use Red Solo cups to spell out a message to the road below. Today that message was “Secure our Border” and the honking in support was the best ever. Even better than “Abolish the IRS”.
I have been up there alone before and it was soooo much better today! One patriot in a wheel chair was up there at 9 am until 3:30 with the blazing hot sun blasting. There were people from all of the groups you mentioned and more- including 2 million truckers to DC, Numbers USA, and one guy who said he saw something on YouTube! Finally, we are not alone!

Well you need to find out who organized the event and talk to them.
I was just trying to motivate you to do some activism being as you had some ideas.
But if you are just trying to get organizers to do something else than what they do, you may find that they are doing a good job at what they are doing now and aren’t interested in having people push them in another direction.

I’m active just not an organizer. We all don’t do the same things. And I wasn’t trying to “push” anyone in a direction, just a suggestion. I totally appreciate what these people are doing, think every one who organizes, shows up, or works in other capacities is doing a great service to their country.
So stop making me the bad guy. I didn’t open the borders.
