There were about 6 or so at the protest in Lawrence, Kansas. People honked their horns and waved (often with just one finger). The police got a few complaints that we were hanging over the side. He didn't want to make us leave and said we could stay until 12:30. Most of the responses were positive and I think it was encouraging. I met some great people.
I was amazed at how many people are so disrespectful. This is a small city and I'm sure I'll interact with those people again. Am I supposed to be respectful to them? I know this is just how things are but it really is shocking. Most of the people up there were old ladies. Who thinks it's acceptable to flip off and yell profanities at an old lady?
Are you kidding? These are LIBERALS! They don't hesitate to flip the finger to God Himself.

Might have had better results protesting in San Fransicko over Lawrence.
If they knew you were a conservative, believed in God, loved your family, shunned fags and other freaks, drove an SUV, or worked for a living, yeah, they probably would.
I was at an anti amnesty demonstration in Lansing Michigan today, and it was something.
Pro amnesty demonstrators showed up and they were aggressive, foul mouthed and on the edge of violent. When we left there were 20-30 police officers there. And it was mostly to protect us. They formed a human barrier between us and had to keep pushing the pro amnesty people back. They tried to shove their way amongst us and had bull horns yelling in our ears, they were told to keep them away from our ears.
First we were called racist cowards,then f’ing baby killers, fascist racist and finally nazis.
We were told that they were given a script and 35$ to be there.
They chanted in Spanish “resist and conquer”, “America is a racist nation” and my favorite “yes to amnesty, shut down the fascist demonstration”. The irony was totally lost on them.
As we were walking back to where we parked, one of the officers who was protecting us pulled up next to us in his car and said “why are you leaving now. It’s getting interesting!” We thanked him for being there today, he said that we were welcome and God bless.
These people have no intention of integrating or assimilating. They are full of hate. If they are any representation of what is coming across the border, we will have a war on our hands. One group drove by and stuck their hands out the window, mimicking shooting us. That really got the cops attention.
By the way, the protest in Lansing had blacks and Hispanics with their legal fire arms in our group. I guess they are racist too. Several people were carrying, legally.

Also, when we first got there, I didn’t know what to think of all the police presence. I later found out that there was a demonstration yesterday at the state Capitol that got violent, with arrests. One anti amnesty demonstrator and two pro amnesty demonstrators, who happened to have lawyers waiting for them. On e the the pro amnesty demonstrators arrested was an illegal immigrant. Don’t know what happened to him, but if they had lawyers waiting for them, I am guessing he is back on the streets, probably was there today.
We had major thunderstorms here this morning and we didn’t attend the protest rally. It was to be held on an overpass on I-10 in Okaloosa County, about 35 miles away. I hope it was successful and the message was seen by those passing through Northwest Florida.
