I don’t know how Malaysian’s Airlines can survive

They are a government-owned airline (strategic industry, don't you know) full of appointed political cronies and their relatives. Everyone makes a buck too through kick-backs when they buy a new plane, or a fuel contract. The government also makes sure they have the best landing rights in the country and negotiates for them overseas. So don't worry, they aren't going anywhere.

I was unaware of any of that, thank you. Good points as well.
They may not be going anywhere but will people fly on them? Do they even have a choice in Malaysia?

United and AA survived, we gave them billions and they gave us charges for carry-ons.
