Of course there is no mention in the article that the official NO FLY ZONE is over Crimea and southeastern Ukraine — south of Donetsk.

So where are they supposed to fly to get back to Kuala Lumpur???

Notice all of todays flights are avoiding the area, some by flying over Russian territory.
