Yes. On my local 10:00 news, they said, "Still no word of any Americans on board" even though 23 has been mentioned all day.
I wonder who was important that was on the plane? Major donor? Media?

The government knew within 10 minutes of the shoot down who was on the passenger manifest. They could release the numbers immediately like other countries did. It is total BS to report they are withholding the figures until they "notify" the families.
My guess is they are waiting until the news frenzy abates. It's kind of like waiting until Friday at 4 PM before a holiday weekend before releasing critical news that puts them in a bad light. They plan to do nothing, so a total stall is applicable.
Besides, the suspense is helping to cover up their other bad news. When is the last time you heard anything about the invasion on the border or the IRS crimes?
