WASHINGTON -- President Barack Obama is traveling to New York City Thursday for two campaign fundraising events during a national transportation tour.
He is scheduled to attend one event for the Democratic Party and another for the House Majority PAC, which tries to help Democrats win House seats. They are being held at separate private homes in Manhattan and are closed to media coverage.
Obama will spend about five hours in the city, arriving at Kennedy airport at 4 p.m., then heading to the fundraisers. He will return to the White House just after 9 p.m.

That screws up the evening commute.
Don’t question his work ethic. He is working so hard, Do you remember how Bill Clinton made the remark, “I have never worked so hard in my life”, when he was flitting all over the country getting money from Buddhist monks, Pauline Kanchanalak, Charlie Trie, John Hyuang, etc.?????
Going to parties is so difficult, you know.
Why would any rational person give ten cents to anything associated with Obama?
If they are giving out of fear, why make Obama show up? Why not just send a threatening letter to the donors?
That would give him an early start on the 15 day vacation.
