Hitler, Stalin, Mao, Hirohito, Ho Chi Minh and Kim Il-Sung all stood up for their country.

What a truly awful, disgusting, and disgraceful thing to say. They did not stand up for their country. They drove their country into ruins. They murdered 10s of millions, if not 100s of millions. And this, to you, is standing up for their country? Just despicable.

We get it. You lie awake worried that the Putin monster is under your bed. But to let that lead you to trample on the memories of 100s of millions driven to their death, or living in miserable conditions, is beyond the pale.
