The House can move all it wants, but Harry Reid will bottle things up in the Senate... and then there’s the veto pen.

The bill also would aim to give President Barack Obama “more tools” to deal with the crisis, such as policy changes to speed up deportations of unaccompanied minors.

UGH! Obama is the 'tool' that started this mess! He doesn't NEED any help.

Further in the story is a blurb about 'amending the 2008 law'...which would be great, but that's NOT the problem. The problem is Obama's 2012 DACA executive 'action'!

----

I'd expect nothing less than capitulation from a charter member of the RINO herd like Coryn, so this is no surprise.

Never let a (man made) crisis go to waste.

BTW, Politico, how’s that investigation into Obama’s abuse of the IRS’s powers going?

So many larfs at Sarah Palin for daring to bring up impeachment of Obama. Was the Watergate break in a bigger or smaller crime than either Fast and Furious or the partisan withchunt of TEA party and pro-Israel political groups?

Did the Democrats do poorly in the “next election (1976)” after impeaching a popularly re-elected president?

So if I can read between the lines, the Republicans are only giving Obama two billion dollars to disperse these illegals widely throughout our country. More tools to speed up deportations? He isn’t deporting anyone now, why would he speed it up.

Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio), incoming Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) and a group of top lawmakers working on the border crisis are set to file a bill that very closely mirrors the legislation crafted by Texas lawmakers Sen. John Cornyn, a Republican, and Democratic Rep. Henry Cuellar.

I fear this is going to be a case of 'never let a crisis go to waste' and this RINO/Rat alliance will produce amnesty as the 'solution'.

An open letter to the GOP Members of Congress

As a Representative or Senator in Congress, you took this Oath:

"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter: So help me God."

"Support and defend the Constitution" it says. Did you see that? That document, in turn, requires, per Art.4, S.4, that

"The United States shall guarantee to every State in this Union a Republican Form of Government, and shall protect each of them against invasion; and on Application of the Legislature, or of the Executive (when the Legislature cannot be convened) against domestic Violence."

An invasion is what we are suffering. That invasion has accelerated with each "comprehensive immigration reform" previously enacted. Instead of another disastrous reform that yet again increases the incentives for millions more to try their luck crossing the southern border, a Member of Congress who took his Oath and the Constitution seriously would be pressing for what the American people have repeatedly said they want - not what Senators Schumer and McCain, Mark Zuckerberg, Mexico, some border state farmers and homebuilders or the Chamber of Commerce rent-seekers want. That is:
  1. secure the border in a transparently verifiable way;
  2. end the anchor-baby interpretation of the 14th Amendment;
  3. enforce eVerify without exception and with severe penalties;
  4. end chain migration - entry per individual qualifications, not family ties;
  5. deportation upon contact with any law enforcement agency - federal, state or local
  6. no government benefits beyond critical emergency care (and that ought to be billed back to the home government); and
  7. NO "Path to Citizenship" - EVER - for anyone who has entered the US illegally.
Any measure that does not accomplish these things is unacceptable. It is de facto amnesty. And it will inevitably, ineluctably encourage millions and millions more illegal entries.

If the GOP is complicit in this amnesty fiasco, either by taking up the Senate bill or through some piecemeal slight of hand with a series of House bills such as we hear are being cooked up of late, or as riders on other necessary legislation, the GOP will cease to exist. It will not survive through the 2016 elections. The people will shun the over-tanned, glad-handing, backslapping quislings and look elsewhere for leaders who actually have the spine for the fight. Make no mistake - to me and to many, many others, amnesty is the GOP's Rubicon. Cross it at your electoral peril.

When did that SOB declare 500,000 acres of Texas as a national monument??? That should have been headline news in Texas!

Of course, Texas has an Obama lapdog news media that no doubt thought Texans didn’t need to know that half a million acres of its territory is now under federal control so that illegals can enter at will. Next, we might find that The Worst President has given it back to Mexico….and the media didn’t think we needed to know that until we are arrested for trespassing and thrown into jail.

That’s the way I read it —

If they are going to speed up deportations then why do they need $1-2 billion.

And why give him any more tools — if they work he won’t use them.

They need to tie his hands —

Why are they busing kids deep into the country?

If you have the kids collected and the buses, send them BACK over the border. Let MEXICO deal with their illegal immigrant problem.

And if “drug crime” is the problem, why doesn’t MEHI Co. legalize it?

CONTACT YOUR REPS AT ONCE---MESSAGE: The House bill MUST contain provisions for IRS, SEC, FBI, Secret Service surveillance of all WH communiques---with power to supboena all of Valerie Jarret's wire-transfer records, cell phone records, mobile devide records, computer hard drives, emails, instagram posts, her communiques with the DNC, and the like.

Tell your Reps----no frickin' way do taxpayers want Obama to get billions of our tax dollars----without assurances that the vote-crazed ding-a-ling is not using it to buy Democrat votes for amnesty....or to wire-transfer zillions to repay Central America honchos for emptying their decrepit villages to give Obama new Democrat voters.

=================================================

Obama used billions in tax dollars to get the Obamacare debacle passed. Some observers have noted that the Democrat-controlled Senate passed Obamacare "after a series of unsavory transactions that purchased the aye votes of several shrewdly extortionate Democrats"....with a huge pile of money still unaccounted for.

The most unsavory was Landrieu's $4.3 billion "Louisisana Purchase."

THE PAPER TRAIL IS HUGE Sen Landrieu (Scumocrat-LA) sold her aye vote in what Forbes Magazine dubbed "The 'Louisiana Purchase" that included a massive $4.3 Billion to Landrieu

FORBES REPORTED the Democrats’ nailed Landrieu’s support for Obamacare w/ a greenback bribe. Landrieu, critics believe, pledged her vote in exchange for some $200 million more additional federal funds for Louisiana. Except that, due to a drafting error, the law ended up giving Louisiana $4.3 billion: more than twenty times the assigned amount. MORE HERE http://www.forbes.com/fdc/welcome_mjx.shtml

===============================================

BACKSTORY In the fall of 2009, Sen. Harry Reid (D-Nev.) was trying to get the necessary 60 Dimocrat votes to pass the Affordable Care Act. He needed every Dim on board, which gave waffling senators a great deal of leverage. In Landrieu's case, she connivingly saw that selling her aye vote could get her maybe $200 million federal dollars. Obama complied. Reid chalked up another vote for Obamacare. But not the measly $200 million but $4.3 billon was attached to the Obamacare bill earmarked for Landrieu.

=================================================

How $4.3 billion to Landrieu was calculatedly attached to the Obamacare bill, and how Obama and Reid failed to catch and fix it, is yet another indictment of the Obamacare atrocity. The payoff to Landrieu should be investigated as an indication of how EVERY Democrat came to vote for Obamacare....and perhaps helped elect more loyal lock-stepping Democrats.

========================================

RED FLAG Even though nobody asked him, Harry Reid (D-Nev) recently announced "the border is secure"......a potent signal that hanky-panky is afoot.

The fact that they would think of allocating any new funds at all is reprehensible. Frankly, I think they should take the money out of the SNAP program distributions to the states so that the Democrats can feel the voter repercussions about what the long term impacts of these invaders are. Make the Democrats REALLY pay to the bone for their new Democrat voters.

Besides Barry does not want to deport anyone. He just wants more money to warehouse them.

House Moving Quickly on Border....HA! That’s a good one!

The House is COMPLICIT with this border invasion!

If ANY politician truly wanted to put a stop to this, they would hold press conferences, 24/7, on the border...until this “sudden crisis” stopped. They would call for citizens to Barry-cade the highways and runways. Once they’re in, they’re in.

The time to “move quickly” was last year - before all of the bids/contracts went out to transport them here and about the USofA.
