***Support of American weapons manufacturers?***

That is one of the reasons Thomas J Dodd and Emanuel Cellar proposed their first federal gun law back in 1962.
The registering of all handguns(Long guns would not be affected) and a ban on 5 shot army surplus bolt action rifles and handguns.

In 1964 they proposed the registration of ALL firearms, and a ban on army surplus rifles.

In 1968, they got their ban on army surplus rifles “to control crime” they said but everyone who had kept up with it knew it was to protect the New England gun makers. Now they are driving their gun makers to TEXAS.

I would highly recommend that you read The Dick Act of 1902 also known as the Efficiency of Militia Bill H.R. 11654, of June 28.

Invalidates all the BS from these clowns, it also goes hand in hand with the USC, look up the definitions for Firearms Title 26, 27, 18 USC… you may be surprised!
