Pro bono? Drats, I was hoping the traitor would have to fork over some, if not all, of that ill gotten $350k to the lawyer.

Pro bono doesn't always mean what you think it means. It might very well mean that Luis' time is unpaid but that the Feds (aka tax-payers) pay for associates, clerks, filing, printing, expert witness fees, etc, etc. How do you think Johnny Cochran et al became millionaires?

Would be right interesting to see what visitors or telephones calls the Bergdahl fambly have had since the really, really bad swap. With his wife's position at the NY Times the WH may have made the contact through several layers of cut-outs.

It’s pro bono for now as there are no charges filed.

After that, it’ll be our taxes hard at work defending him.
