Pulitzer Prize-winning conservative columnist Charles Krauthammer wonders whether Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is on his medication or not.
But is this an official diagnosis?
Among his impressive list of accomplishments in life, Krauthammer is a licensed psychiatrist and practiced medicine for three years at Massachusetts General Hospital, so some would argue he is qualified to assess Reids mental health.
The good doctor was a panelist on Fox News Special Report with Bret Baier on Tuesday and the participants were discussing the wave of illegal immigrant children overrunning the U.S. border with Mexico.
Earlier in the day, Reid had the audacity to say the border is secure, and Dr. Krauthammer let him have it.
When you hear Harry Reid saying the border is secure you got to wonder, you know, whether hes on his medication or not, he told his fellow panelists. That is so detached from reality.
How many do we have now? 60,000 at least kids who come over? he added. And were completely helpless.
I was on a plane from Houston to Boston today and there was a ton of those little dreamers on the plane. I was rubbing elbows with a stinky one all flight.
Reid is either delusional due to mental illness/dementia or is knowingly lying. Troubling what ever the reason.
If they all stayed in Boston, I am okay with it. They deserve every one of the little dreamer stinkers because they’re the ones that put clowns like Obama in office.
All the psychoanalyzing is beside the point. A lot of what politicians say isn't intended to reflect reality but to serve their political ends, so talk about being delusional is beside the point.
You could reply, though, that if a politician says something that is so wildly untrue as to hurt their own cause or chances, that crazy is an appropriate word to use.
Could you tell us a little bit more about the group?

“Could you tell us a little bit more about the group?”
The plane was full of them. Teenagers and children carrying large manilla envelopes with minders. None of them spoke a lick of English. One of the minders asked me to give up my seat so the cute little dreamers could sit together. I told her I was pissed and she can go *%$# herself.
