DAYTON -- We've shown you how tens of thousands of unaccompanied children are now surging our southern border. Many of those children are now being shipped across the country. So we wanted to know, would Dayton accept them?
Mayor Nan Whaley says Dayton would be willing to extend their welcome mat again to these children in need.
"This is a product of having no immigration reform by the federal government. We've continually asked Congres to act on this issue becasue we know these things can happen," Mayor Whaley said Thursday

BREAKING: The White House is in talks with Dayton Ohio Mayor to Bus 20,000 ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS to that city! #Dayton #Cincinnati #tcot #p2
12:39 PM - 11 Jul 2014
Apparently local news in Dayton, Ohio is reporting that Obama is negotiating with Democrat Dayton mayor Nan Whaley to ship 20,000 diseased illegals to that city. Dayton seems to be (if 2004/2008/2012 Ohio election fraud queries are to be believed) one of the more progressive liberal parts of Ohio...the turning of Ohio, blue...
Mayor Whaley! This is NOT “a product of having no immigration reform by the federal government” it IS a product of refusal to enforce the law.
Get this info out and act! Right now, we're literally putting out fires, as it were, but we must get out there & protest. Contact the Mayor's office...you know what to do. Get out there & defend your city!
I’ve seen her on local TV saying to send the illegals to Dayton. She didn’t say where they would house them.
Maybe at the local Air Foree base? (WPAFB)
I do not believe Ohio, as part of the 'rust belt, is participating in any sort of true economic recovery. Perhaps just treading water, but I would surmise that city is not in the economic stable condition to absorb tens of thousands of welfare recipients.
All things come with a limit. A mathematical limit.
At what point and what is the number that exceeds our ability to be compassionate...???

Perhaps...but I discern the Cloward / Piven strategy is based upon no limits.
My opinion on immigration is based upon the existing evidence of not being able to adequately manage/provide/train/educate our current citizen populace...that our compassion 'tank' has been drained some decades ago. We truly are not proving (no, not considering entitlements) for our own.
Since WWII, we've provided a protective umbrella, a bread basket, favorable trade for vast areas of the civilized world.
We're spent!!! Immigration is temporary closed due to urgent maintenance...sorry for the inconvenience.
Whaley may want them, those of us in the suburbs do not.
Dayton is a dying city for the same reason Detroit is dying, total Democrat control.
The Democrats have been campaigning to make Dayton and the suburbs one big metropolis, so they can get their hands on the money in the burbs, of course. They keep telling us how successful that has been in Indianapolis.
I had no idea this lesbian loon was offering to house these people, the local (Dem. controlled) news outlets have said nothing about it.
“Mayor Nan Whaley says Dayton would be willing to extend their welcome mat again to these children in need.”
I still remember when Rush offered to send bus loads of “the homeless” from Los Angeles to Malibu, after their honorary mayor, Martin Sheen (actor) declared Malibu to be a “Sanctuary for Homeless”. The people living in that city had no problem with the declaration, but wanted NO PART of the Homeless being bused there.
It was Rush in FULL FORM, 25 years ago.

Suburbs may not want them...but will a choice be given? I experience where a number of inner cities ship their Section 8 recipients out to the suburbs. It is sold as diversity, as to alleviate the congestion. But in reality, to spread the pain. As crime rates increase in these newly settled Section 8 households/areas...the inner city washes their collective hands. So too will these illegals be eventually shipped to the suburbs. To spread the problem around, to negate traceability/accountability, to obviate any 'follow the money/favors" queries.

Click on the source link...is not ABC22 local?
ahhhh... yes... Hollywood celebrities...those pampered creatures that have private armed bodyguards, private limos/jets/SUVs, have obscenely vast mansions, receive financial incentives (tax breaks), watered, manicured lawns/golf courses, practice NIMBY, bleat out the latest cocktail talking points, the latest feel-good charities, graces or rather scolds/preaches ‘flyover country’ with their current revelations...those celebrities???? ;)
It is, but unless we are having a severe weather event I ignore tv news. I skim the newspaper headlines every morning online, but haven’t seen anything about this.
The southern suburbs got stuck with two section eight housing complexes early on in the program, but Have resisted any further expansion for at least a decade. Oddly enough they cause very little trouble, their surroundings have greatly influenced the occupants and not vice-versa.
