McALLEN, Texas (AP) — Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Jose Antonio Vargas, a Philippines-born immigration activist who has lived in the U.S. since childhood without legal documentation, was detained Tuesday by Border Patrol agents at a Texas airport Vargas had been visiting the border city for several days as part of a vigil to highlight the plight of thousands of unaccompanied immigrant children coming into the U.S. illegally who in recent months have overwhelmed Border Patrol facilities.

Vargas went public about his own immigration status in a 2011 piece for the New York Times Magazine, revealing that he had been living in the U.S. illegally since he was brought from the Philippines as a child to live with his grandparents. He was part of a team of reporters at The Washington Post that won a Pulitzer Prize in 2008.

If he is in the country illegally, I don’t know what else they can do with him other than send him back home.

Illegal aliens do not need drivers licenses in California. If they get pulled over by the cops the cops let them go without issuing a citation. In California that is called the four no’s.

No drivers license
No registration
No insurance
No hay problema, adios amigo.

These rules apply only to illegal aliens, not to you and me.

In answer to my own question, the individual McCain hired was Juan Hernandez. He’s another jackass that is super anti-american and pro invasion of the U.S.
