The most damaging thing crossing the border is drugs. Terrorists can come in the front door, go to flight school here, overstay their visas, and cause all kinds of havoc.
Its making it easier to bring drugs in. I’d guess they are bringing in materials for attacks, perhaps some of those portable SAMs they acquired in Syria.
