The UAW won’t get any traction there. VW employees rejected the UAW.

The last time the UAW tried to organize Republican leaders of the legislature were talking about revoking VW's tax incentives if the union won. Another attempt at organizing will no doubt bring the same threats. The UAW will hope that sooner or later VW will get tired of the threats, or their German unions will apply pressure on the company, and the Chattanooga expansion will get put on hold if not cancelled.

And the UAW will be proud they stopped the creation of 2k jobs because they wouldn’t have been Union.
