Obama's unpredictability 'stresses' the Secret Service

I'm sure the SS gets very nervous about the excursions they have no control over. You never know who or what you may run into. Several decades ago I met a former occupant of the Oval Office in a tavern and shook hands with him; there were SS present. I didn't think of it at the time but I had a pistol in my pocket. These days there are likely more concealed weapons than there were then. Things can happen quickly.

During that trip, the president was approached by — and ended up shaking hands with — a man wearing a full latex horse mask.

Horsehead man should not have gotten within twenty five feet of the President. How could the Secret Service allow ANYONE with full head and face covering get near the President?

I don't care for Obama but I cannot believe the SS did not require the mask to come off or remove him from the crowd. That was very dangerous and a breach of Security 101.

By unpredictable I think they meant “erratic behavior.”
