I was thinking, what if the shooter had been a 20’s black male with tatoos and a gold tooth. How different would this thread be? Instead we had an old white ex-cop shooter and that changes the flavor of the thread. It should make no difference. The shooter should be held to the fullest sanction the law can give.

The only reason they’re defending this guy is because he’s an ex-cop.
The guy would have already been sentenced and in prison, were he a regular *citizen*, and not one of the King’s former officers.
