The University of California should insist that ALL of their staff, and ALL of their students, also divest from fossil-fuel companies, and to make the point stand out much louder, the university should insist that ALL of the staff and students, ride bicycles to and from campus.

The university should also do student recruiting based on what future students plan on riding/driving to school. Any vehicles that use fossil fuels, will automatically ban the student from attending that school, until the student sells that vehicle.

If any other university feels the same as the UC, then all of them should forbid staff and students from using fossil-fuel powered vehicles.

The air will be cleaner, and global warming will be stopped dead on its tracks (I’ve got a bridge in Brooklyn which I need to unload, cheaply, btw), but, the much better deal for the U.S. and the world, is that, we’ll end up with a lot less liberally educated idiots.

They should also ban the use of heating, air conditioning, and lighting. And also ban the use of computers, electronic instrumentation, and even running water.
