From Cruz’s own lips: “My Spanish is lousy.”

Not sure what that exactly means in this context:

“Ted Cruz, Mike Pence or Scott Walker would be great choices. Not seeing much else out there.”

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Can we add Ben Carson to that list?

A lot of people here would condemn Perry the same as Rubio.

Rubio has no executive experience, no business experience, no military experience, no philosophical concepts with which I agree; other than that, he’s a fine fellow.

“Can we add Ben Carson to that list?”

Yeah...if you are ok with an empty suit with zero experience that doesn’t understand the 2nd Amendment, and believes in “2nd Amendment Zones”.

No thanks.

The time to create an alternative is now.

By all means. I planted a tree today. In about ten years I expect I'll be getting shade from it.

Citizenship aside, I think just about any Republican could easily beat Hillary. But, and this is a crucial but, we must reverse the order of the ticket. That is, the top of the ticket must be from the populist/Tea Party wing of the GOP, and the running mate from the establishment country club wing. Think Reagan-Bush, not Bush-Reagan. That’s the only way you’ll get grass-roots turnout.

He will be fortunate to hold on to his FL Senate seat in 2016, with the widespread liberalism in that state.

Governors or nothing. That’s what will defeat Hillary. It’s why she’s hoping Romney will run and lose again.

We need governors to run for POTUS. Note that it was a Senator on Senator on Senator race that gave us Obama.

“Governors or nothing. “

I like Cruz, but you’re right. We need somebody with experience and a state is at least 1/50th of what the president has to deal with. It’s most of the same problems but on a smaller scale. At least it’s the same job. This hiring inexperienced and unskilled labor has to stop.

Rubio could not beat his way out of a paper bag. What a loser. No one is going to vote for him in the primaries. Its a waste of money.

Does Cruz speak Spanish?

Cruz does speak Spanish. And yes I think Scott Walker is doing a great job as Wisconsin Governor. He would make a good president.

What I would really like long term is for the federal government to be cut down to size and the rightful powers and revenues of the states returned to them.

Then the Walker and Perry types could take care of their states without the feds scooping us all of the tax revenues and blowing them on grandiose social engineering.

Okay, then is it Walker, Jindal or Perry?

Half a brain and enough stones to tell the truth while not backing down from the media could beat The Hildebeast.

Her primary qualifications have always been being Slick Willie’s wife and having [theoretically] a vagina. Well, I suppose there is 2nd hand proof of the latter [Chelsea], though the male donor has been called into question at times.

Hmm...there were stories indicating the establishment had instructed him not to run to clear the way for Jeb Bush. I would certainly prefer him to Jeb Bush.
