I teach women to shoot, as well as kids, and elderly folks who want to learn.
They LOVE it. Experience ranges from terrified of guns but wants to learn, all the way up to someone getting their first carry piece and familiarization with it.
One consistent comment I’ve heard in various forms, across the board: “This is SUCH an amazing feeling!” as well as “There’s NOTHING wrong with THIS!” as in - “Hey, I’ve been bullsh*tted about this...!”
There it is. Empowerment. To be able to protect YOUR self, YOUR family, YOUR life... and not depend on anyone else. And it’s a feeling that the libs do NOT want anyone to have.
I became an Instructor “to give something BACK” as the libs are so fond of saying... “to make a DIFFERENCE”.
And it has. :^)

Keep-a-going, and teach ‘em that target shooting is all the ‘bullets’ in one hole, and ‘self-defense shooting’, is as many holes inside a handprint as their firearm carries.
(I prefer six well, over 13 not so well.)
