Our friend who is a retied water dept worker of 30 yrs lost his health ins in this contract, his wife retires as a music teacher after 33 yrs next month, they will have NO health ins and can’t afford 0’care.

Good luck to your friend. ObamaCare was funded in part by cuts to Medicare (this was widely known/publicized at the time), and to me that sent a clear message that the “legacy Americans” were being sold out to the interests of the “replacement Americans”. In terms of municipal workers’ benefits, I have no sympathy for them; here in NJ they bankrupted the state and force taxpayers to provide them with both easy jobs and lavish retirements that are unattainable for the general public.
