Something about the third amendment was supposed to take care of that.
Ironically, a couple of years ago, I was in a discussion at work about how the this amendment could never be violated. it wouldn’t make any sense. looks like I may have been wrong.
Yes indeed, we went to war over quartering. It relates to the opposite of private property rights - that “your” home and “your” possessions were essentially property of King George. As the feral’s grow, they essentially become more of the mindset that our property is their property, what with taxes, our businesses, our labor. While it might be a tad (emphasis on might) whimsical to still think of the 3rd being breached... the fact remains that unlike yesterday, we are starting to be concerned for this last of the un-breached Bill of Right amendments.
