Democrats in the Senate would lose either way. Those that vote to impeach him will damage the reputation of the Democratic party and those that don't impeach him will damage their own reputation.
He still needs to be given some time to step up and do something, though. If thousands more show up in the next month, and he still makes excuses, then that would be the time to impeach. Additional charges could then be leveled at him and the impeachment itself would give more exposure to all those other offenses he's guilty of.

True, but his impeachment should be launched on the grounds of refusing to defend the borders of the United States.
That's the issue the public can most easily understand and accept as grounds for impeachment.
Once impeachment becomes politically possible, everything else then becomes available as grounds for conviction.
Thanks to a butt-kissing media, much of the public is still unaware of what he's done, but the immigration crisis is the issue has finally gotten the general public's attention.

I want to stop Obama and his agenda. I do not want to bolster Obama's political power. Impeaching Obama will make us feel good but will make a martyr out of Obama. Like I said, look how well it worked out when Clinton was impeached.
We have only one chance to save this country. If the Republicans can retake the Senate, we at least have a chance of blocking Obama's agenda. If we blow the elections in November and the Democrats hold onto the Senate, then Obama's left wing judicial appointments will be legislating from the bench for the next 30 years.
And the left have the numbers and youthful energy.
I swear if the Republicans don't do something soon about just who is and who is not having children, none of this will matter in the long run.
Democrats are using Republican's money to birth, feed, and house more Democrats. I know it's unpopular around here, but I think it's time to consider linking contraception to receipt of government benefits and maybe even providing contraception to teens in schools where a parental presence is lacking.
Anyone that's spent anytime in an urban school knows it's already out of control.
The schools in the inner city are nothing like what most conservative parents know of from dealing with their own children's education.

Obummer’s entire claim of a “do nothing” Republican House is because the Senate refuses to act upon, or even debate, bills sent from the House.
So go ahead with impeachment. In fact, proceed with multiple articles of impeachment.
Then turn the searchlight on Harry Reid when he refuses action on these bills that the American people so clearly support. Let Dirty Harry try to explain why acts of treason aren’t really treason.
