I did indeed sally forth this morning - smooth commutes in both directions. We topped off at 97F in the Federalplex today and just had a strong line squall come through at Sunset. High winds, trees down, hail and power outages in some areas very close to us - we were spared from all but winds and rain, fortunately.

I'm heading for the sack in a few minutes - still very fatigued.

Well, you do know my Native American name translates to “Day Brightener”.

This was bestowed upon me by one of the last of the full-blooded Tonto Apaches (a very small division of the Apache Tribe). He had asked me what my favorite animal was, and other things to find a name for me, and then, out of the blue, he said that I “Brightened his day”. Then the name was bestowed, and it stuck.
