I think the lesson learned is....Dad never spoke of the HORROR of the war...but he always spoke of the FUN moments he had with his shipmates...ALL of those men truly were the GREAT generation, in my view!
Onw wonders what will be said of the Iraq/Iran Veterans in about 40 years.........hell, at this point, I pray we even have an America in 40 years!!
In my humble opinion, it is time for Bibi and the Isrealis to bomb the ever loviun p*ss out of Gaza and Iran! GODS SPEED Isreal!!!!!!!!!!
But if we get Hitlery, Warren and some more Marxists/commies/socialists/fascists, and the fascist bureaucracy and activist courts become much worse before a Conservative President can untangle and straighten out the looming disaster, America as we know and love it, is a hollow shell, and a turd-world hellhole. OR, it all collapses and CW2 erupts, and what re-emerges might resemble, in time, what we had.
I hope I'm still able to participate in the fight and die for our Freedom and Liberty; it'll be up to others to rebuild.
Personally, I don't see another RWR in the Conservative picture or even on the 'bench', ready-to-go. I'm real concerned about where this handbasket-ride-from-hell is going to wind-up.s been sucker-punched hard and is reeling right now. And the next 24mos will be unbelievable hell from 0bummer
