We need leaders here in Texas, Conservative leaders, and we hear nothing from them.

Speaking of leaders - Mark Levin represents himself as on on the intro to his radio show. Last week he had Cong Birdenstine (R-OK) on his show. He's the one who was denied access to the illegals at Ft Sill. After the interview, the very first caller suggested that the Congressman should return wih the full Armed Services Committee.

Levin's reply? He said, "To what end?" The caller got flustered (probably gobsmacked by the seeming dismissal of what I consider a proper response to the dfiance of a Congressman's prerogative.)

"Leader" seems to have a fluid definition.

And I have pinged Mark to several comments I have made, hoping for a clarification. He has not posted here in a long time.

I'm sorry to hear that Mark Levin is not responding to your pings. The suggestion that Congressman Birdenstine should return to Ft Sill with the full Armed Services Committee is a good one...it would be a concerted effort by someone in Congress to stand up and demand entry to Ft Sill.

C’mon, Mark, a Conservative politician is trying to do something worthwhile here. He's making a real effort. Something is better than nothing.

Would be a good idea to shoot Birdenstine the idea voiced by the caller to Mark Levin. Don't know if it is possible, but it beats doing nothing. Enough with the lip service and the threat of lawsuits, etc. from politicians. We need some action now.
