Letter: Illegal Aliens Who Exposed Border Patrol Agents to Scabies May Have Been Released into Population
Illegal aliens presumed to have exposed border patrol agents in San Diego, California, to scabies may have been released into the general population, according to a July 4 letter from Ronald Zermeno, director of Health and Safety of a local chapter of the National Border Patrol Council, the union representing Border Patrol agents.
We do not know exactly which detainee was infected and processed at Brown Field that resulted in the agent contracting this disease," the letter, sent to Paul Beeson, Chief Patrol agent at the U.S. Border Patrol in Chula Vista, CA, said. "We suspect that they could have been already transferred to ICE custody and may have already been released in the surrounding communities.
As reported by Breitbart California, two border patrol agents in San Diego contracted scabies from illegal immigrants sent from Texas.

Memo to Pelosi: Group pictures of those “kids” show mostly young men between the ages of 15-18 year olds. I suggest you have all them be sent to San Francisco. The perverts out there would be thrilled, bugs and all!
Why aren’t these kids sent through the decontamination/delousing process? I hope the medical staff are allowed to wear taped up surgical gowns, masks, or hazmat suits.
Large-scale mass drug administration strategies may be required where coordinated interventions aim to treat whole communities in one concerted effort. Although such strategies have shown to be able to reduce the burden of scabies in these kinds of communities, debate remains about the best strategy to adopt, including the choice of drug.
The resources required to implement such large-scale interventions in a cost-effective and sustainable way are significant.
It's a pain in the arse to treat and a lot of work because your bed linens must all be washed in hot water. Unwashable things like decorative pillows must be bagged for 2 weeks. Places you sit with fabric must be avoided for 2 weeks. All clothes you recently wore must be laundered right away in hot water. Cold water clothes must be bagged for 2 weeks then washed normally.
