You pegged it. This not only effects LEO, but all former retired city workers. We have a friend who worked in the upper levels of water dept. He is retired now, and he will go 4 months NO health ins. And when he does get 0’care it will cost an arm and a leg as his wife is a diabetic. Who will be a retired music teacher in Aug. So neither will have health ins. They aren’t rich by any means. Just average.
Actually, it doesn't matter how wealthy you are - to some bureaucrat in some government office of making you sad, you're "the rich".
