While we’re on the subject, guys, and you may thank me very much, allow The Wise I to explain this thing about women and birth control.

When I was a young and lush female, I absolutely hated being a female. It wasn’t that I was born a man or any silly stuff but putting all the choices in a basket, I assumed the male of the species was better off.

I became a woman’s libber of the highest order and I’m not proud of that.

I DO know, however, the issue women have with birth control and I shall explain.

About this female thing, my logic was that the woman had all the trials and tribulations. She had to have the baby, she had to be pure in her sexuality, she had that awful thing every month, the pain of childbirth. She had to wait for the man to ask her out or to dance. Men only wanted pretty women, brains and personality didn’t matter.

I couldn’t make myself into a man but I could HATE them.

Now I say that softly because I really didn’t hate men; Lord I married four of them and that don’t count the ones I dated. AND I thought I was one of the ugliest women on earth which, of course, I was not. I was quite pretty and I look at young pictures of myself and frankly I was a knockout.

Though, per the women’s libber lesbian-based creed, looks did not matter and so I figured hey....forget I am pretty, love me for my brains and personality....heh....well few men really loved me for my looks that I recall but if they admitted such a thing it would not be a compliment to me, just the weirdness of the women’s libbers.

I dated fellows, sure, plenty of them, Here’s the thing about being a woman and NOT wanting to get pregnant. You don’t really take birth control pills all the time as a single woman as well you got to date a guy at least a couple of times before sex. So maybe two months go by, three or four, before a fellow comes along that I would date long enough to be intimate with. Then it became a big deal.

You go through your old scrips and see if your BC scrip expired. If it did you got to make another appointment to the GYN to get a new script. IF the scrip was still good might only have a couple of months left.

Lookit, it’s AWFUL.

The solution is, of course, LET BC PILLS BE SOLD WITHOUT A SCRIPT.

Hey, the AMA contributes to political coffers and without forcing women to come see them for a script they lose business, right?

It’s always the woman who has to be bothered and why? So Brad can have sex and not worry about me getting pregnant?

Understand that this logic is not...well, logical but it’s how young women think. The guy, he can buy a condominium at any drug store, no questions asked. The woman, even to get a freaking IUD, has to make appointments, put legs in stirrups....the least they could do is give us our BC pills as part of our treatment. Health insurance did not pay abortions either. Not sure how it is today.

I thought it was only I who was bitter about all this but hey, it would seem that lots of women want their BC pills paid for....or....HERE IS A SOLUTION...

...let the women buy BC pills at the drug store. It’s been over 30 years since the BC pill. There’s very few side effects of the thing and, if so, THEN you go to the GYN.

Course this will take away contributions to politico’s funds so we must fight this silly battle.

Gubmint controlling our life. All to keep the Blue Blood elite in power.

That is the big femihag lie. The very thing that makes women miraculous is what they are told holds them back. How many lives and families has that lie destroyed?

I’ve been away from internet access for a few days... just now reading the Sunday A.M. Talk Show. However, before I read this thread, I posted the following on another venue:

Abstinence is birth control. Marriage is for a man and a woman, who THEN procreate and TOGETHER raise their children...
