The goal of the government is to create sympathy for the Illegals. The Democrats are trying to create sympathy for the Illegals, and paint Patriotic Americans as evil people - in the hopes that the Democrats will win in November.
I believe that the Obama Administration has misjudged the mood of the country. Any violent suppression of the protests by the government will create a nationwide backlash, and things will quickly spin out of Obama's control.
Let the pro-illegal leftists engage in the violence and make sure the visual evidence is spread far and wide over, under and around the MSM.
