I agree. Perry is a governor, he has a national guard at his disposal. He needs to protect his state. Doing nothing but yapping is not a solution a real leader would allow.

He (Perry) also could turn out child services to check out the health and well being of those children. Why not use rules and inspections in place for summer camps? Why not something creative like charge those transporting them with human trafficking?

What we want is a governor who can act quickly and resourcefully in the face of fast-moving events. Not one of the 50 has shown any capacity to do so.

These kids are being moved around by and protected by Homeland Security “guards”. What’s the National Guard supposed to do??? Go up against “Armed” Homeland Security Forces??
