The Amplified Bible says:
“For in the day of trouble He will hide me in His shelter; in the secret place of His tent will He hide me; He will set me high upon a rock.”
The “rock” must be Jesus.

The meat is strong spiritual truth and salt is a preservative of meat.If the salt has no saltiness it's use as a preservative is diminished and mere men will begin to tread it underfoot.When the salt is removed altogether the decay will be swift and the antichrist will thrive for a time as humanity..."...not seeing the sun for a season....went about seeking some to lead them by the hand."(Acts 13:11)
