The Sudanese mom who was freed after being sentenced to death for refusing to renounce Christianity remains holed up with her family in the U.S. embassy in Khartoum, unable to flee the war-torn nation and facing new charges instigated by her own relatives, sources told FoxNews.com.
Meriam Ibrahim and her family are waiting for new travel documents to be issued by the U.S. after being detained last week for what Sudanese authorities alleged were forged South Sudan papers when she tried to leave the country, a source close to the family said. Making matters worse for the mother of two are a new set of charges raised by her own Muslim relatives.

Any other time in our history, this would mean safety. With the present administration, the US Embassy is unfortunately the equivalent of being open in the middle of the street. Pray, people, pray!

Two things are exceptionally clear due to this poorer woman’s plight. 1) how precious freedom of religion truly is and 2) how evil,cruel, and totally unGodly Islam is.
I cannot believe the US hasn't gotten them out of Sudan yet, now that they're in the embassy.

How long until they come calling to do that wonderful honor thing? How high is confidence that we have actually beefed up security at our embassies?
They seem to be stalling until one of the relatives comes in and shoots her so they don’t need to issue anything. Obama can demand instant amnesty for anybody but those he doesn’t want here.

We must try and look at this, “ a new set of charges raised by her own Muslim relatives.” Can there be any
doubt that there is enormous pressure on her “muslim”
family? Peer group, Imam, everyone is putting the bite
on, for Honor, to keep from being dishonored themselves,
to keep from being killed...
This is why Islam must be stopped in this country before
it’s too late, and it may already BE too late.
