What about the other 4 Justices, who collectively decided the case? IMHO, (as a foreigner, who pays some attention) Roberts seems to be the only one on the SCOTUS, who acts like an impartial judge. The other 8 are overly partisan. Perhaps it’s just an impression, formed because only the biggest cases are covered in the MSM — but, there are clear ideological divides on the Bench. That doesn’t seem right, for an institution that’s supposed to be above partisan politics.
The Supreme Court is THE most partisan and political body in the country, and probably always has been.
Maybe we should only allow people who have had prefontal lobotomies on the USSC to be certain that they are free from partisan politics.
