I met Mike Trout’s parents when the Angels were playing the Orioles two y i ears ago. They were really great people and gave me onfidence that Mike Trout will be a great ambassador for the game of baseball, as well as being a great player.
So I am a Mike Trout fan, and so I sorta root for the Angels.

But I am a Nationals fan.

As for football, I root for the 49ers and Raiders, so that the people around me are in a good mood. I am a Saints fan.

Having said that, this year I am sitting out the NFL. After blackballing Tim Tebow, and the ‘no taunting” rules, and the big deal about the first gay player, I decided the NFL is too pansy for me.

I watch NHL hockey and MLB baseball. The rest of the time, I am enjoying life. The last time I stopped watching football, I didn’t bother watching it again for almost 15 years.
