Right. Glenn announced his decision to run against Petri. Two days later Duey Strobel announced. And within a week, Joe Leibham announced.
Several years ago, we BEGGED Leibham to run against Petri who had wasted space in Congress for the last 29 years, and Joe wouldn’t do it then. But this time he goes up against an awesome conservative.
So, we have 3 Republicans spending all of their money on a Republican primary and one of them will have to go up against the lone DemonCrat in November, who will have a war chest available to him.
Is Petri still alive? In my all too distant youth, we would gather at Young Republican national get togethers for rousing choruses of “Let’s send Petri back to Oshkosh!” to the tune of I’ve been workin’ on the railroad!
